 Math Curriculum NEWS

    The Yakima  School District purchased a new Math curriculum in 2004. Teachers implemented the Math Investigations program for the last three years. A year ago, the YSD purchased an updated Investigations curriculum. This new edition has been revised to include mathematical fluency. Teachers received additional training.

    Washington state created new Performance Expectations for each grade level. Please review these NEW STANDARDS for your child.

Monthly Quiz

    I designed a simple 10-question math quiz that I give to my students every month. It gives me feedback as to how all the students are progressing with their learning. The quiz reflects the basic math skills required in second grade. I use the assessment results to direct my instruction for each student. I've posted the quiz so you can work at home on these third grade math skills.
